Course Description

This course will focus on marketing your program and/or organization. Beginning with identifying your target community, we will explore strategies for marketing and building authentic relationships. We will identify avenues for communicating, formally and informally collecting data to drive your program development. Using case studies, contemporary media-based examples and clear frameworks collectively we have an opportunity to explore multiple approaches.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how to clearly identify the communities being served by your program or organization

  • Develop authentic strategies of marketing to and engaging those communities

  • Identify and be able to utilize effective methods of communications appropriate for your organizational needs

  • Collect and make use of data (formal and informal) to support the development needs of your program, service or organization
