Course Description

Through this interactive three-part engagement, participants will begin by examining the art of public presentation and speaking through three main processes – prepare, practice and present. They will be provided an overview of some of the key theories of leadership and their impact on leaders’ behaviours and leadership styles. Participants will acquire strategies they can employ to amplify their leadership styles/skills.

The session will outline the significance of differentiating between personal and professional relationships, exposing participants to the power of relationship building, providing several essential networking tips to help enhance their professional relationships with colleagues and leaders in their organization.

Key concepts and ideas that will be included are the value of research, use of technology, use of time, examining personal and professional styles, building confidence, and the value of physical appearance.

The session concludes with a discussion on the value of evaluation and personal reflection as tools of continuous growth and development to increase mastery.
