ABOUT BLACK TO THE FUTURE
Black to The Future (BTTF), is a capacity-building initiative to strengthen leadership and organizational scale of Black focused, Black Lead and/or Black Serving nonprofits and grassroots organizations in Toronto.
BTTF was shaped through a collaborative process between the Confronting Anti-Black Racism Unit at the City of Toronto and Black community organizations and leaders who joined together to co-create and deliver three capacity-building initiatives: Action Grant, community of practice and the BTTF summit.
This co-creative endeavour was an extensive one and we recognize the 19 Black Focused, Blacklead or Black Serving organizations that engaged in this development and consultation process.
